About EKDA

Founded in 2010, the El-Amin Kibera Development Association is a community-based organization committed to transforming lives through sustainable development initiatives.

Our Mission

To inspire and empower communities through development programs that address education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and infrastructure challenges. We work alongside residents to create sustainable solutions that break the cycle of poverty and build a stronger, more resilient community.

Our Vision

Thriving communities where every resident has access to quality education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and lives with dignity. We envision a self-sufficient community that serves as a model for urban slum transformation across Kenya and beyond.
